What should I bring with?
- Towel/ Swim wear
- Sun hat/Sun glasses
- payment ( we do not accept credit cards at this time)
- water bottle
- reef safe sunblock is permitted before we get on the boat and cannot be brought on the boat. ( please consider sun clothing)
What is the cancelation process?
- We have a 48hour minimum cancelation policy to get a refund on fun diving.
- We do understand that food poisoning and colds do happen but we have tight schedules and still have fees to pay for no shows.
- We require a minimum $60 USD deposit for Fun divers and for courses we require a minimum $200 usd nonrefundable deposit.
What can I NOT bring with on the boat?
- No knives or cutting tools allowed in the marine park
- No sunscreen of any kind permitted in the marine park
- No poking sticks or spearfishing gear permitted in marine park
- Smoking is permitted on the boats but you must keep your buds out of the water and must be thrown away safely.
- No alcohol is permitted on the boat and if you have been drinking before the dive you will not be permitted to dive with the group and must stay on the boat.
- No touching or keeping souvenirs from the dive.
What type of gear do you offer?
- For BCD’s we use all integrated weight systems with trim pockets on the back.
- We have options of full 3mm wetsuits and short 3mm wetsuits in ranges of sizs from xxs-4xl
- For those people who get cold easily we also have a range of 5-7mm wetsuits along with hoods and vests.
- We have options for fins with booties or soft strap fins for bare feet.
Can I bring a camera and/or will one be provided?
- Cameras are allowed for certified divers, we prefer you are at least an advanced diver to use one and to also inform us you will have one before the scheduled dives so we can place you in the proper group.
- Discover Scuba divers are not permitted to use a camera on the dive, you can request to have a divemaster/another guide to come along and take photos for an extra fee.
- All courses come with a complimentary photo package of minimum 5 photos
- Fun divers photo package is $20 usd extra and includes minimum 10 photos.
- If you use your own camera we will provide a lanyard to strap to your bcd so you don’t accidentally drop it on the dive.
- We are not responsible for any lost cameras or dive gear on the dive.
- We suggest if using your own camera to take a photo of a piece of paper with all of your contact information on it incase you were to lose it while on the dive.
What Dive site will we be diving?
- Every morning we determine dive sites on the boat, we base the decision on weather conditions, skills of dive group and amount of divers already at that site.
- You can request dive sites but we need a minimum of 24 hours beforehand to confirm location.
What type of food will be served?
- We tend to have different lunches each day
- Fresh fruit, sandwiches, tacos, chips and guacamole are the common lunches
- I am Vegan/ Vegetarian will there be options for me?
- Yes for vegans and vegetarians please let us know the day of booking to insure we have options for you at lunch time.
- Water/ Powerade are on the boat everyday.
Transportation
- For all courses transportation is included in the course.
- Fun Divers meet at the marina the morning of the dives. Taxi fees are around $12 usd round trip.
- Fun divers can request pick up from us for a fee of $5usd per day. ( depending on pick up location)
- We provide on site moto rentals for $20usd a day.
- staying at a resort? If your resort is south of the marina we can pick you up from your resort pier at your cost of pick up. (each resort charges differently) ranges from $3-10usd per person.
